Ahzahea's Story
Ahzahdae and her baby's father Alex were 16 and sophomores when they found out they were expecting a baby. Ahzadea lived with family friends, and was known by her teachers as being snarky and having an attitude. This snarky young lady began attending Parent Life and almost every InSPIRE class offered at the high school. When their baby came, she amazed us all at how well she nurtured that baby, all while continuing to attend school. She worked hard, graduated high school at semester her senior year, earned her CNA degree, and recently celebrated her daughter's first birthday. As we share and show the love of Christ, Ahzadea has never shied away from voicing her feelings and doubts about life or God's existence, but always listens with respect when other views are brought her way. We know God is still writing her story, and we are so proud of who she has become.
